Arts Council Napa Valley and Silo's Jazz Club Announce An Open Studios Benefit Auction & Artist Reception

Arts Council Napa Valley and Silo's Jazz Club will be hosting an Open Studios Benefit Auction and Artist Reception on Friday, June 12th, from 5-7 PM. This free event features an exhibition of paintings, drawings and metal sculpture created by four incredible Open Studios artists: Jocelyn Audette, Nick Cann, Diane Flyr, and Josanna Borelli-Zavala. Patrons will be treated to wine, hors d'oeuvres, Alec Vidler on guitar, and the opportunity to bid on artwork by these prominent local artists, with proceeds benefiting Arts Council Napa Valley's Open Studios program. Arts Council Napa Valley appreciates the support of Mumm Napa and Sweetie Pies, who have donated wine and food for this reception.
This event is included in a series of exhibitions of Open Studios artists at the Napa River Inn. Beginning in June, every Wednesday night at the Historic Napa Mill is Local's Night. Guests will enjoy live music at Silo's, complimentary wine tasting, BBQ at the Napa General Store and specials from Vintage Sweet Shoppe, Napa General Store Retail, Amelia's Gifts, Angéle and Sweetie Pies. Each evening will also feature a Riverwalk display of local fine artists who have been juried into Arts Council Napa Valley's annual Open Studios tour.
SILO'S, Napa's premiere music room is located in the heart of Downtown Napa at the Historic Napa Mill, adjacent to the Napa River Inn at 530 Main Street. Open Tuesdays through Saturdays, from 5pm-10pm, Silo's Club Manager, Keith Stansberry, features fine wines carefully selected only from the best of Napa Valley wineries along with local micro-brewery draft beer from Napa Smith Brewery, delicious light fare treats and live music many nights of the week.
Arts Council Napa Valley's Open Studios is a juried program that includes two weekends of self-guided tours of artists' studios throughout the Napa Valley, featuring painters, sculptors, photographers, ceramicists, fiber artists, jewelry makers, glass artists, and other fine artisans. This program is a unique opportunity to meet and talk with artists, learn about art-making techniques and the creative process, and buy local art right from the source.
