Artist Profile

I balance parallel careers as a fine artist, graphic designer, and wearable art designer.

Whether creating a Zen-like two-dimensional image, a three-dimensional package design, or exuberant whimsical jewelry, the ability to make an artistic concept manifest in the physical world is something I do everyday.

My paintings are acrylic on canvas, chiefly inspired by nature and wild and domestic animal life in the Napa terrain and beyond. Resonance with the ancient cave drawings of Lascaux are seen in some of the images.

A new interest of mine is creating collages using recycled security envelopes (inside tints) and magazine insert cards.

I am proud to be participating with uncorked-at-Oxbow in the Artist-Winery/Resort Partnership Program. Several of my paintings will be on display there during the month of September. Open Studios Catalogs with maps will be available uncorked-at-Oxbow, 605 First Street, Napa.
