I am a California artist who has learned from the master landscape and documentary photographers to create a new manifestation of these genres.

I believe people seek a mythical connection to the landscape. Beyond postcards and digital representations of their planet, they strive to feel the scale of their land.

With my work I hope to find a connection with the land that transcends traditional realistic photographic representation.

I consider myself an emerging artist who wants to push the visual boundaries of the photographic medium.
