Artist Profile

I have been interested in painting most of my life.

I attended apparel design and fashion illustration classes at college. Following that, studied life drawing at De Young Museum, painting at Academy of Art in San Francisco, and studied painting under Bob Rogers at the Kona Arts Center in Hawaii. I worked with various painters at the college and with Ra Ariymitar, a master oil painter for four years. Most recently I studied with Robert Burridge in Mendocino.

I paint with brilliant colors and simplicity of form, but keep some of the subtlety I learned from the impressionists.
